AWC women helping women through philanthropy
One of AWC’s long-standing traditions is to “champion” and mentor young women who belong to AWC student chapters across the country. The AWC-Madison Professional Chapter continues that tradition with our member-endowed “Catch a Rising Star Scholarship Award,” given annually to an aspiring student who is pursuing a career in communications.
The primary source of scholarship funding is gifts from members like you. Although contributions of any level are welcome, suggested giving levels include:
Superstar:
$1,000
Shooting Star: $500
Rising Star: $100
Catch A Star: $50
Starlight: $___
All contributions are tax-exempt through the AWC Matrix Foundation. The money you give is used exclusively to fund scholarships that benefit members of AWC student chapters associated with the Madison Chapter.
Please act positively now and become a scholarship benefactor. Corporate matching gifts also are welcome so consider asking your employer to match your gift. Make checks payable to the Matrix Foundation and send it to Karen Reppen, Treasurer, AWC-Madison chapter, PO Box 55054, Madison, WI 55704-8854.
