Intersted in Learning the Membership Fees? Applications for membership in the Madison Student Chapter are available in the Association for Women in Communications (AWC) mailbox, 5th floor journalism office, UW-Madison campus. Student membership is $30. Student attendance at chapter meetings is only $10.

The first year membership fee for Professional Membership is $179 ($99 for national dues plus $50 for a one-time registration to the national office and $30 for the Madison chapter dues). The fee is $129 for subsequent years. Professional Membership is available to women or men with a degree as a professional communicator or two years of communications experience. Graduating student members also are eligible. A professional member may join one of our local chapters or become an independent AWC member. An Entrepreneurial Membership is $164 ($84 for national dues plus $50 for a one-time registration to the national office and $30 for the Madison chapter dues). The fee is $114 for subsequent years. To qualify for this special rate, you must be actively in business as a consultant, freelancer, or sole proprietor. You may not be otherwise gainfully employed. Please submit either a web address (use the "comments" section on the application form) or a business card along with your application (your business card may be sent separately).
